Buddy Guy (86)
legendary blues man...
i knew of him because Clapton and BB used to say he was the 'greatest blues player'...
anyway, a decade or so ago he toured here as part of a music festival and i made the effort to watch his set on one of the outer stages.
his energy and playing absolutely left me speechless, Clapton and BB were probably right, Buddy was that incredible and he was in his late 70s so i could only imagine what he was like in his prime.
i have become a fan since watching him live...
he was 74 when he recorded this one (and BB was a spritely 84), incredible stuff.
