Like I said, my vinyl to digital device is pretty cool.

It took around 7 years to play all my records the last time.
Assuming I don't make it through them again, do I have any volunteers to take over after my passing. :clock:

I have never heard of a device that was capable of doing that. Pretty cool!! With technology anything seems to be possible. Santa was very good to you this year!!

yes that can count this time.....i had a very nice quiet christmas, took 8 hours to watch ben hur, which i gace my flatmate, and in return i made her sit through gone with the wind-which she loved!!! i knew she would, she is a big girl really, no matter how much she pleads tom boy ;0)


santa got me alot of books-in the form of wh smith vouchers which turned into 6 of the true blood books magically after i visited the store ;0)

What are people's plan for new years eve?

I plan to get up at my normal 4 a.m. time.
I will then let the animals out and make some java and burn one while waiting for it to brew.
I will then get a cup of it.
I will then watch the news to see if any pieces of the world have blown up during the night.
I will then turn on the computer and read various news sites.
I will then get a second cup of brew.
I will then grab an unknown album out of the box (I love surprises), slap the headphones on and chill out, while recording a numerical grade for each track on the album.
I will then go to this cool site called music-discussion.com and make various posts, concluding with a review of the album I just listened to.
I will then listen to 1 or 2 albums from different online sites, recording a grade for each track of the album I just listened to.
I will then watch some c-span to see what politicians have screwed me or plan on doing so.
I will then take a shower.
I will then greet Mrs. Head as she is probably just getting up.
I will then read a chapter in The Good Book.
I will then read a chapter in the book I am currently reading.
I will then set the DVR to record any shows that are on that day that I may want to watch later (I don't do commercials).
I will maybe take a short nap depending on how tired I am from the above activities.
I will then throw back a few shots of bourbon and grab an Ale-8-One (a local soft drink).
I will then grab a sandwich and maybe some soup.
I will then go back under the headphones to listen to another album, probably one of my new cd's I just got.
I will then ask Mrs. Head if there are any chores she would like me to do.
I will then do them.
I will then watch the news again to see if any pieces of the world have blown up during the day. I will switch back and forth between the conservative and liberal networks to catch the different spins.
I will then get back on the computer and post another album that I listened to.
I will then eat a wonderful supper that Mrs. Head has prepared in my honor.
I will then watch tv with Mrs. Head (whatever I have recorded from the previous day (I don't do commercials)).
I will then let the animals in.
I will then go to bed at around 10 p.m. plugging the earbuds in with the mp3 (shuffle mode).
I will then go to sleep.

In other words I will do what I do every other day.
