Yesterday was the 62nd birthday of country band Diamond Rio lead singer Marty Roe.
God bless you and him always!!! Holly P.S. Yesterday would've been the 64th birthday for country legend Joe Diffie, a man who is still very much missed.

Dani Klein (Danielle Schoovaerts) was born on this day in 1953, in Belgium. She's the lead singer and driving force behind Vaya Con Dios which sadly, is no more. They did a farewell tour in 2014 although she made an acoustic album last year, in October, revisiting a selection of their hits - just her and a pianist. Fabulous voice - very distinctive, and she has flair. Also a realist, Ms Klein recognised that her voice wasn't equal to some of what she'd done before so they adapted the repertoire on that acoustic album to suit her capabilities.
Her fame was hard won - she'd been singing since the age of 17 and only got recognition at thirty four. She also took a three year hiatus mid-career when all the stress caused her to lose her hair, temporarily. On Thursday, January 26th, 2023 she will receive a Lifetime Achievement award from the Flemish MIA's (Music Industry Awards). Possibly my alltime favourite ...
