An Idea For Discussion!

Hello Gryphon.

To be honest with u, i thought such things already occurred on this site and that i couldn't find it/them!

The only thing i'd like to say is that i like and appreciate a lot of differing types of music, however, i have observed that most people on this site seem to be of a certain generation! Secondly, does it have to be an album? Surely anything can be intellectualised and used as a base for discussion/debate?

Now this next statement may seem contradictory or even false, but i adore music. The thing is, i'm not much into albums, so listening to a whole one would be very tiresome for me, as i am of the view that most music out there isn't worth my time. However, in the interest of debate and musical discussion, i will participate, if only just to learn.

I would like to suggest Lady Gaga's album "The Fame".

I have already listened to it and formed an opinion many months ago, but would give it a re-listen to fully appreciate new perspectives. Also, i am a fan of hers, so my opinion may be biased, but i am fully capable of being objective!:nod:

when you mean you wish to discuss anything besides a recommended album for eg:- an artist, etc... you can do that anyway.. & I guess many are already doing it..

I am game for anything that Music channel & Radio are not playing day in & day out....

So I suggest please "NO" Beyonce, Rihanna, Lady GaGa, Akon, Jay-Z, Timberlake, etc..... we get to hear enough of these even if we don't want to...

We need several people to help

Carbon P can supply the links to supply of new albums to review That;s great!( Can you show me where you can get them from so that we can all have a look please)

Next to the management team : can you create a sub forum please for me as I don't know how. I think we can call it "Weekly album review"

I think we will start off with albums ( lets get started then we can try other ideas )

Genre :lets be open to start with. see how it goes...

Who wants to be involved ?: I think we should do this by invitation a bit like the social groups

We will need a stater person to suggest the first album ( then it can rotate)

I think we need a member of the management team to help with the access issues etc

We need to agree how the album needs to be presented and accessed .

It's not that I don't want to be involved in this. You guys know me better than that by now. It's just that I tend to over complicate things that should be simple. I was actually thinking of making a contest out of it with a prize for the winner. But that might take the fun out of it. Looks like you and gryphon are doing a fine job in taking the reins. Waiting for Anthony to weigh in on some suggestions.
