Wow this is really turning into an informative poll. I reckon if this poll was conducted in the old MD (3/4 years ago) then the result would be very different, as a much larger rock following existed.

I said other because quite frankly....I love it all!! Hip hop/rap and metal not so much..But all other kinds of music ..I love!

I picked indie because I'm partial to the L.A. silverlake scene i.e. (Local Natives, Saint Motel, Fight From Above). I think there should have been a way to pick more than one genre though...

I can't vote in this man! I listen to a bit of everything at some point (including other!) I enjoy some Avant Garde and minimalism- Rhys Chatham, Philip Glass, Merzbow, Lou Reed's 'Metal Machine Music' etc. But thats just cos' Im crazy.
