The Doves were an American band during the '90s. They have an album by the name of Affinity, which includes your track.

Might be difficult to get hold of, although marketplace traders on Amazon.com have new copies.

By the way the Doves track I mentioned earlier was still bugging me so I decided to delve a little deeper. It turns out there are three bands that have some variation of the name 'the Doves'. One in the states, one based in London and one based in Manchester. No wonder it's confusing.

Bought 2 DVD's yesterday. Rick Wakeman's Live DVD of 'The Six Wives of Henry the Eighth' - stunning. Also Kings of Leon live at the O2 in London. Mediocre, with the cameraman more concerned with catching the audience waving their mobile phones around instead of concentrating on the performance. I like their studio stuff but live they don't live up to expectation.

I do not consider them a blues band. This is the fourth album from the New Jersey band fomed in 1987. That could be where they got the album title. This is their best selling album on the strength of the single Run Around, which is the best thing on here. Hook was the follow up single. The album reached #8 on the U.S. charts. Never was a big fan of this group, but I gotta give John Popper some props on that harmonica.

English band still kicking after 40 years, with various lineups. For this 3rd album, it consited of David Byron – vocals, Mick Box – guitar, Ken Hensley – keyboards, Mark Clarke – bass guitar and Lee Kerslake – drums. Their best album for me. I think Mick Box is the only original member left. Although the band was never a huge success, they made their impact. This was their highest charting album in the U.S. at #23. The Wizard and Easy Livin were singles with the latter hitting #39.

Twelfth album with Tom hooking up with the Heartbreakers and their first together in 8 years. Debuted at #2 on the U.S. charts, so I guess they haven't lost their mojo. Just so-so for me, barely cracking the buy list. Looks like I Should Have Known It is the first single which was one of my least favorite, but what do I know? Not much I admit. A lot of bluesy type stuff here, which is to be expected I guess. It's not that this isn't good stuff, just sound like it's all been done before.
