What's your strategy to get the best concert tickets?

Do you like to buy online? At a store?
What site do you use?

I want to know how to get prime tickets, I always get shafted!

There must be a solution to this, but I don't know what it is.

It doesn't seem to matter how early I book tickets, it always seems to be a bit of a lottery.

Some of my recent purchases have involved pre-registration online, but I don't know if this is a common practice...

There are so many ticket retailers nowadays.

The best one I've used so far is Live Nation.
They have a great website that's user friendly and makes it easy to get the best tickets.

Anyone else use Live Nation's ticketing service before?

I have used live nation before, but sometimes I prefer to book through the venue, for example, the 02 arenas have sites that have concert listings with links to booking.
Failing that try seetickets.com, they have been fairly reliable for me
