yeh, some of their stuff aint too bad, more of a singles band than an album band IMO

Crazy,
What are some "album" bands as often I find the old story again holds true...one or two good songs and the rest of the album sucked !!!
The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!

CCR spring straight to mind,Beatles,Weller,Neil Young,McCartney...but theyre all old guys now.
of the 'new crop' of singers i like Pink,Adele,Eminem,My Morning Jacket,Gaslight Anthem...off the top of my head for good all-round albums, pretty sure there must be others but its so hard to get around to listening to them all-all the time???
i find the main problem nowadays is that they all feel they have to use all 70+ minutes of a cd to make an album, thus instead of making a very good 40-45 minute record they have another 30 minutes of average songs on board....generally i'd much rather pay for 10 3minute tracks that are good instead of basically a double album...how many double albums are consistantly good in the history of music?...not many IMO!!
