I only have two. ^ This, plus Bop Til You Drop.
Both good, but probably won't make the earth move...
Good quality, tasteful music.

Guess I'd have to end up with a compilation, if anything.

Heres one for the Al Stewart fans among us. A rare track called 'Pandora' which was a bonus on the reissue of his 1980 album '24 Carrots'. Personally I think it's the best song I've heard heard from him.
listened
prefer his softer stuff
thanks

One of the few songs that gives me the chills everytime I hear it. Dire Straits are like a different band live, their music just comes to life in so many different ways.
This is their best live album & sadly their last ever released. 17 years ago now! We could do with a reformation! Don't say this often but it's a must have for any collection.

agreed!
is Telegraph Road on that album Soulman?...14.5mins of musical perfection IMO.
Dire Straits albums are brilliant but 'live' they take it to another level completely.im a bit like MH,in that im not a fan of instrumentals but 'going home' by Knopfler is just sublime...i get chills up my spine when i hear that one.Dire Straits are truly in a league of their own.
everyone knows im not the biggest Pink Floyd fan here but their 'live' dvds,Roger Waters also, take their music to another level also.

Nice to know we're on the same wave length Lloyd! No 'Telegraph Road' was featured on their earlier live album 'Alchemy:Live' which most of their fans would probably prefer to this album. It's just because I'm a huge fan of their last album 'On Every Street'...and the 90s!
Not a big fan of Pink Floyd but 'Money' & 'Wish You Were Here' Ep are brilliant. 'Cluster One' is a good instrumental as well. Call me an alien, but I never understood the appeal of 'Dark Side Of The Moon' album!

Bought 4 CD's yesterday
Jethro Tull - Dot Com
Rick Wakeman - Phantom of the Opera
Kings of Leon - Come Around Sundown
Vangelis - Best Of
The Jethro Tull one really surprised me - really like it and the critics said it was crap.

I have all of Tulls albums except this one and Catfish Rising.
So you're saying I need this one, correct?
How many times can I modify this damn list?
