Rock in China is releasing CORE IN CHINA on May 15th 2012. CORE IN CHINA is a free online compilation of Chinese Metalcore, Deathcore, Nintendocore, Hardcore and Screamo bands that have been selected via an open song submission process from January to Mary 2012. The selected songs represent not only great music but are also to be seen as a snapshot of the current Chinese metallic underground. Bands from Beijing, Wuhan, Changsha, Taipei, Hongkong, Batou and Guangzhou participated in this unique record. Rock in China's is promoting the compilation globally and first reviews have been posted in France, Australia, Shanghai and Beijing:

Welcome aboard MD., Max ! I hope you stick around ! Thanks for the Chinese metal links ! These bands are just as good as any today ! I wonder what other hidden musical treasures there are in a country of 1.3 billion people !

Are you a big metal fan ? I like all genres for the most part so I listen to Steve Wilson, Agalloch and one of my favorites Opeth on a regular basis as well as a few others. What are some of your favorite bands?
