Hello, Frieds! My name is Gilbert. I wrote a composition. Please listen and tell me what do you think of it! Please, don't judge too severely Smile http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Xx1dzt-S68&feature=plcp

Gilbert, I have to admit when I saw this post I thought - Oh God here we go again - but I really like the piece. I think it just needs some 'body'. A little more bass EQ on you guitar to give it a bit of edge, Love the violin part. This is very good and the arrangement is well thought out. I say 7/10. Try a bit of chorus on some of the instruments. Not the violin - keep that isolated in the stereo spectrum. Just an opinion. But what I like about it, is the fact that there is some real thought behind it. Ending is a bit too sharp. Maybe use the violin to carry the piece out. I like it. You understand how to make a 'theme'. I would have called it 'Theme for the Last Soldier'. You wanted an honest opinion - you got it. You're not too far away from composing a really iconic movie soundtrack. Good luck my friend.

Thank you very much friends! Next work will be in several months. I'm going to write romantic ballads. I think it is more in demand than music about a soldier. Smile
