Of the major-league violinists, I've only encountered Nigel Kennedy live, and I wasn't impressed. His performance was a failure of style over content.I've always liked Anne-Sophie Mutter, though...

I seem to recall a couple of years back that a friend of mine from Stateside remarked about your uncle John Georgiadis being one of the best:

My uncle John is extremely good. Was leader of the London Symphony Orchestra for years.
