Jane Wrote:Mine is Attack Attack. I recently am listening to their new self-titled album Attack Attack!. Although a member left the band, I still love their music.

I must admit to loving late 60's and 70's electronica. United States of America from 1968, Harmonia and the albums Brian Eno did with Cluster. Also the BBC Radiophonic Workshop did some truly amazing work - Delia Derbyshire, Jon Baker -etc. Even earlier, Musique Concrete from 1948 onwards created otherworldly sounds, once heard, never forgotten.

Busy listening to Brian Eno - Neroli. Dissonant music (Phrygian modal stuff). But very relaxing. A sort of subconscious music??!!?? Probably good backing music when you have to paint the house and the fumes are starting to get to you........

Probably Pendulum. They are really progressive and I was surprised when they dropped Self vs Self. I liked their cover for Linkin Park's The Catalyst too.
I think my second favorite would be Attack Attack!. Dr Shavargo part 3 was amazing with the mix of clear and scream vocals and I've been all over their new album too. My favorite tracks on the new album (This Means War) are The Revolution and The Motivation.

Have you heard Yoko Ono's new album Snape ? I also like the sream vocal thing ala John Lennon's Mother and countless others in metal and the avant garde. At the same time I can listen to Adele, Gotye, Garbage, Mumfords, ...etc...I'm a weird duck ! ...lol

It is so nice to hear someone else enjoys Self VS Self. I am so happy that Pendulum and In Flames teamed up for that song.

Lol! Then weird ducks are progressive! I'm like all over bands like Vildhjarta and Devin Townsend but I still like to listen to bands like Five Finger Death Punch and hardstyle DJs like Wasted Penguinz. I even like some folk metal bands like Korpiklaani but then I'll listen to the Gorillaz too. Maybe I just have a lot of moods, lol.
I've heard some songs by John Lennon and I've even heard some of the Beatles tracks. I really liked Lennon's style so I will definitely be checking out the Yoko Ono album. Thanks for the heads up on that!

zOOmg! I like totally did forget about In Flames. That's another one of my favorite bands! There's so many really awesome bands out there right now. I watched/heard the live Pendulum concert with Self vs Self and I was just all like wow, that can't be Pendulum! Those guys are so creative! They really need to get with In Flames more often cuz it's just amazing what they can do.
