last concert i went to was Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bad Company. I went to see Paul Rodgers from Bad Company. Unbelievable live voice that seems to be unfazed by the fact that Rodgers is in his 60's.

I agree! Paul has one of the greatest voices in rock history! The Live at Wembley album is so good!

three weeks ago The Boss tickets went on sale here...he sold 20,000 tickets in four minutes, and i missed out!
a week later tickets for a second show went on sale, again, 20,000 tickets sold in ten minutes, and again i missed out!!!! last week a third show was announced and tickets sold out in ten minutes, and you guessed it....i missed out!!!!! anyway, today, my mum rang me and said she has a friend who has two spare tickets(not sure why but she has?!?!), anyway, they were offered to me and i didnt hesitate... so on wednesday 5th february Dani and I will be at The Perth Arena to see the Legendary BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & THE E-STREET BAND perform one of their famous three and a half hour gigs!!!!! AWESOME STUFF!!!!!!

Saw The Avett Brothers on Friday night. It was a fantastic show. The last time I saw them in an arena and I've decided I hate arenas for certain performers. The Avetts are best in a smaller venue. Or maybe it's just because I had better seats. :wink: They always do a cover or two and they played a gospel song as usual but I'm sorry to report I didn't recognize it! They performed Tom T Hall's Your Man Loves You Honey. That was nice but even better was John Denver's A Country Boy Can Survive. That was a blast. They played plenty of their own songs too of course. I found that I like the stuff off of the new album Magpie and the Dandelion better live. It was a great show and I will go and see them every chance I get! I got a few pictures but I can't seem to upload them. :confused:
