Believe me Crazy mate, it took a couple of listens for it to grow on me!..lol...now I can't get enough of it! Must be because of the basically mediocre albums out today,,,and the horrific top 40!The Bowie New Day album...same thing...loved it after a couple of plays! It has to be nostalgia that has attracted me to Paul and David!...lol

I have been listening to Paul's NEW album and it's awesome !!!! I must have listened to it five times or more...such a monster album IMHO! (All Music rating - 4.5 stars!) I like every song...well done Sir! Yes his voice has slipped an octave , a bit lower,can't hit the high notes now, but he still sounds great!..and his band never sounded better! His talent is timeless!!!!! I would have to say it's the album of the year for me!

I've got to go with you on this one Steve. It's a great album. Not a bad track on it. I really like the use of 4 different producers as the album has lots of variety just in the production.

ive listened to it only twice, both times when i got it on the day of release...
of his last four album, "chaos and creation in the backyard","memory almost full","kisses on the bottom" and "new" i only like "memory almost full"....

to me the albums from dsays of future past upto and including seventh sojourn were the best although I have all of the albums and they are all good SteveO Wrote:I agree totally with your assessment of the Moody Blues, J! i have listened to the "new" album again...i still dont like it but it has grown on me a little bit more...
and im confident Macca will win a Grammy for the album in 2014...not sure what for, just think he will is all...
