What Are You Listening To?
I wonder how they sound today some 40 years later Rusty! Probably pretty dam good! They are coming here on 23 Feb! I may go but I already have a ticket for Black Sabbath in April!!!! I find concert tickets are priced outrageously!!!!

well from what I have seen they still do have that sound ,although the lineup is quite different now ,I thing Robert lamm ,james pankow and walter parazider are the only original band members left now . I particularly miss Terry Kath who was an excellent guitar player and had a really great voice.

From the british invasion crowd. There were the top 2, then these guys weren't far behind for me. Formed in 1962, they didn't hit these shores
until 66, with Bus Stop. The hits were steady after that up into the 70's. After it was announced that co-founder Graham Nash was leaving in
1968, I thought it was over. Then came Long Cool Woman, He Ain't Heavy, and The Air That I Breathe. Not a beat was missed. Unbelievable that the
group has never officially disbanded. Lineup changes of course, and the hits stopped long ago but they are still touring and had an album as
recent as 2009. The last one I remember is A Crazy Steal in 1978, and I'm not sure I would be willing to take a chance on anything after that. I
would rather they stay in my memory with those hits that are covered on this compilation, which run from 66-73. I have this album on vinyl, but
it is one of those that is worth having on cd also. Missing from my vinyl is the last track on here which was added for this release. Seems my
mate CH is going to see these guys soon in Oz. It would be depressing for me to see these old men, but I hope it's a good show.

I LOVE THIS ALBUM
