i got this album on vinyl as a gift for christmas that year...
fact is...he never had a #1 hit until his death as a solo artist AU/UK....he was not as popular as history suggests he was!
agree with your worst track..."move over miss-L",terrible song IMO
i'd probably agree with your best track also which incidently had already peaked at #8 in the UK, slipped back to around #38...bang!,Lennon's dead and it shoots(pardon the pun) straight back into the top slot the following week!...
then they rush re-release "imagine","woman", and hey...a hat-trick of #1 hits!
""happy xmas(war is over)" is chilling to listen to anyway IMO, its probably the greatest pop-yuletide song along with Band Aid's "do they know its christmas?"

So this is what real music is like. A refresher after 6 Korn albums. My favorite Beatle delivers on this compilation. This was first released in
1982 but mine is a 1989 issue with 2 bonus tracks, woo-hoo! I held back on buying it so I could get those. One is the only track I don't like.
Eleven loves out of 19 tracks though, so who cares. All of Johns except 1 from Double Fantasy are on here. Strange this album did not do well on
the charts here as compared to Australia and the UK. Love looking over these charts. So John's only #1 single here was Starting Over which is
also my favorite track. Those radio plays must have worked.
