yes I would say that it carried through the later albums ..I think mainly the Bowie album heroes and perhaps lodger ..

i'd never heard LB's cover of "faith"...that was abysmal!!!!

yet,several years later they covered "behind blue eyes" and did a pretty good version of it!

i listened to the whole hour and one minute of Slowdive...
i like bits of it and dont like other bits...

i know it doesnt sound like "tubular bells" in any way,shape or form, but im the same with that album...bits i like, bits i dont.

Debut album and the only one of hers I have. Just never followed up. Love her little girlish voice. The big single here of Stay was actually
first released on the Reality Bites soundtrack, which I assume gave this album a push also. My favorite and only love track was not a single.
She signed with Geffen after that soundtrack single. That lasted for 2 albums, then a move to A&M for 1, then back to the minors. Looks like
this one remains her best selling album only going gold, which the follow up did and it's been a downhill slide since. Last album out just last
year, so she's hanging in there. Don't know that I've heard anything other than this album.
