Crazy's "D" cd list...

okay,
time to move on to the next letter in my alphabet,which should be the same as everyone elses alphabet...
so after C comes D....and if you didnt know that,then you probably deserve a "d" on your report card!

so,
i have 61 cds by 27 D artists, that means some are multiples...

the game is easy to play...
i will post clues to the artist name and you guys need to guess the artist(not the albums)
the letter D either refers to the first name of the band name ie: Rolling Stones would be an "R" band or the surname of a vocalist ie: Elvis Costello would come under "C"

you get one answer per clue i post, then you need to wait until i post another clue to re-guess with another answer(assuming no-one guesses correctly in the meantime.)

clues given could be done so by any means i see fit ie: picture clues,hangman style, a phrase, a hint to their chart success etc etc, its whatever takes my fancy on that particular day.

now, before i start to post clues you all have 24hrs from the time this is posted in which to post your guesses as to which three "D" artists i have the most cds of...
a clue for you to start with...
technically, there are four artists(as two of them have the same number of cds by their name), so lets guess three artist names and see who gets the closest to my list.
