I'm looking for some tips on how to make disco, mainly what instruments are involved and how to correctly use them. I'm also looking for advice on mixing a track to sound older. I want to know how people in the 70's and 80's recorded everything and mastered it. Does anyone on here make disco or something similar?

A good plugin for doing some stuff like that is Arturia's minimoog

Although your best bet if you can afford it is to get hold of some hardware. Pretty hard to replicate that kind of sound with a vst
