DROWNING POOL "sinner" cd, 2001 career stats: studio albums.......5 singles................15 this album: #14 US, #70 UK, #18 NZ singles: "bodies"................#12 US Alt, #34 UK "sinner"................#36 US Alt "tear away"...........#37 US Alt, #65 UK i picked this one up in a discount bin for $2 some time ago... Debut album by these US hard rockers... some very good hard rock, almost metal tracks on here... sort of a cross between Limp Bizkit and Marilyn Manson would be a good way to describe this... when i was listening to this one yesterday i thought...geez, this vocalist has a powerful voice,awesome... then i read the wiki page this morning and found he died not long after this one was released,he had an undiagnosed heart condition! the band have toured with Ozzy Osbourne in the US and continue to tour to this day... oh yeh, this albumhas eleven tracks and clocks in at just over thirty-seven minutes, short and concise without any filler, the way albums should be IMO allup, a very good metal/hard rock album that im sure SteveO would love more than i do! I LIKE THIS ALBUM worst track: sermon best track: bodies tracks: 1. sinner *** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiKK7ULsqXk video 2. bodies *** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04F4xlWSFh0 video 3. tear away ** 4. all over me ** 5. reminded *** 6. pity ** 7. mute *** 8. i am ** 9. follow ** 10.told you so ** 11.sermon ** 3s=4 2s=7 1s=0 rating: 2.3

GUNS 'N' ROSES "guns 'n' roses lies" aka "lies" cd, 1988 career stats: studio albums.............6 'eps'..........................3 singles......................19 this album stats: #2 US, #18 AU, #13 CAN, #22 UK singles: "patience"..........#4 US, #16 AU, #8 CAN, #10 UK GNR's second album.... well not really, its more of an "extended play(ep)" IMO, and their Wiki page agrees with me.... strange release really as there are only eight tracks on it... the first four are from a live 'ep', and of those four live tracks, three are covers, i dont like any of them...! the remaining four tracks are all about what these guys do best IMO....playing acoustic... any of the acoustic tracks could have been issued as singles but only 'patience' was released.... album/'ep' managed to still sell around eleven million units worldwide... I LIKE THIS ALBUM worst track: nice boys best track: patience tracks: 1. reckless life * 2. nice boys * 3. move to the city * 4. mama kin * 5. patience *** 6. used to love her *** 7. youre crazy *** 8. one in a million *** 3s=4 2s=0 1s=4 rating: 2.0
