staying in the 1980s now...
WHAM! "wake me up before you go-go" B/W "instrumental version" 1984
George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley got about as close to the real soul/motown sound as any of those
1980s "white boy blue-eyed" wannabe's could dream of IMO....
and this "A" side is about as good as it gets IMO...
hell, i even like the "B" side instrumental version of the song...
they call this an instrumental but its not entirely instrumental, it is really a remix containing the backing vocals
that one still moves,grooves and oozes seriouswhite-boy soul...
single made it to #1 in Australia
