Sentimental? Even mawkish? OK but he--solo or with his sisters as The Browns--brought comfort, solace to millions of folks...in a distinctively musical way. Here's the NY Times obit: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/13/arts/m...at-81.html
Cue the band: solo, then all 3
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8-n1dkiyJE << A Jim Reeves medley--nicely done << "He'll Have to Go" always tears me up
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkE_Zq3LVVk << Plays well with equals

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wtyx8wG8BsI << You can't not start with this weeper << Applause comes on strong

Also kicking the bucket is James Last His obit: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/13/arts/m...at-86.html A greatest hits album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_tLTWm4c2w << Treacly bushwa but he had a big audience
A man accustomed to hear only the echo of his own sentiments, soon bars all the common avenues of delight, and has no part in the general gratification of mankind--Dr. Johnson
What he said. Amen, Bro--JazzboCR
