^Very nice album. Iso is excxellent as well.
Shackletonâs Voyage by Eureka. The project Eureka comprises Frank Bossert on all instruments, and non-instruments, and a couple of guest artists on vocals, Billy Sherwood being one of them. Itâs a brilliant concept album, IMHO, inspired by Shackleton and his menâs heroic Antarctic voyage. How they kept it together during all that time in the ice and the cold is a mystery â sheer cussedness on Shackletonâs part, I should think. He just didnât give up! Interesting that his ship was called âEnduranceââ¦
In prog style and largely instrumental with some unobtrusive narration now and then, and about four vocal tracks, I find this music so effectively evocative that it is not at all difficult to imagine the scenes in the mindâs eye. A wonderful listening journey â
This track is quite chilling â¦.
