I usually think of emo as punk with some slow paced bits so the music is fairly easy to identify as far as I am concerned.
- I don't know these bands much at all but if you mean the lyrics are full of angst, I would have thought that that sort of lyric was more universal than the music but maybe it's the fact that they're not usually about relationships?
I dunno, I'm still not sure what you mean (granted that's probably because I don't really know these bands)
