PSYCHEDELIC FURS "midnight to midnight" cd, 1987
career stats:

this album....................#12 UK...#38 AU...#16 CAN...#20 NZ...#29 US
singles:
"heartbreak beat".........#79 UK...#26 AU...#78 CAN...#23 NZ

"shock".......................no chart action!
fifth album from these guys and I own five, maybe six on cd and one or two of those in vinyl....
after album #4 they recorded their hugely popular "pretty in pink" thingy....
with the success of that their label basically pressured them into recording a follow up album
at a moments notice to continue the whole 'riding the crest of the wave' thing...
they did and the result is an album the band do not like to this day and rarely play anything
live off it...
its certainly not their best album of alt rock sounds but its still pretty good from a listeners point
of view, and that point of view is mine and that's all that matters...
a couple of absolute classics on this one and a couple of duds also, but that's the way it rolls...
I LIKE THIS ALBUM
