I read somewhere yesterday (and I'll post the article later)
That Rihanna's album is all set to debut at #1 in the UK this week even though
the album has sold less than 900 physical copies,
this is because streaming is used to determine the charts...
What a farce!
There was also another article last week that said Bieber didn't sell one physical
copy of "love yourself" in the UK, but streaming made it a #1 hit...
My question...
Do artists earn royalties for streaming listens?
