I know this is a kind of small niche, but I didn't know where else to ask this sort of thing.
I've been doing some research for a paper on accordion history and would like to try and focus on the main genres accordion has been used in since it made its way out of older folk music. Genres like old school polka, sertanejo, swamp rock, and conjunto, and its more modern prominence in Weird Al's works.
Any suggestions to this list? Please let me know.
