[SIZE=4]Under the Pink (1994)

I'm you again
Racing turtles
The grapefruit is winning
Seems I keep getting
This story twisted
So where's Neil
When you need him"

A lot of people like the song, just for the piano part. I do like the song, and although the bass voice in the first part is weird, I actually like it for both parts. There's just one problem - they don't fit together.
199: I i e e e

And your ease
And I do one more
I know we're dying
And there's no sign of a parachute"

*Gets threatened with machetes and chainsaws* ...hear me out.
Yes, this is another popular one that a lot of people would disagree with its place on the list. I just think it's all a bit too... detached, if you know what I'm saying. I used to think the lyrics were stupid too, but the reason why she wrote this song is actually rather creepy. She told us this at storytellers in 1998 [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGA4p6uxxRE ] (Sorry for the subtitles). I did like the new version she did in 2014, Although I know a lot of people were disappointed because it lost all its dramatic feeling. [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ks1-m61M9PM ]
198: Strange Little Girl
[SIZE=4]Strange Little Girls (2001)
[SIZE=3]"She didn't know how to live
In a town that was rough
It didn't take long before
She knew she'd had enough
Walking home in
Her wrapped up world
She survived but she's feeling old
And she found all things cold"

2001's cover album was pretty much the last of her good covers unfortunately. This is a good cover with the band, and it does all fit together, unlike most of New Age. Not a bad song to name the album after, but there are quite a few more I prefer on the album. (Strange Little Girl was originally written by The Stranglers.)
