Alan Parsons Project - Vulture Culture. I havenât ever really spent much time listening to this before although itâs part of my collection â guess I had just dismissed it as being of lesser interest in the shadow of their much weightier offerings. I think it went a bit pear-shaped with the concept, the basis of which is exactly what the title says, so the end result is all a bit cycnical and jaded. That being said, Iâve found that as far as pop goes (not much rock here at all) there are some great hooks scattered about and the usual suspects deliver with aplomb, as always â Ian Bairnsonâs guitar, Eric Woolfson sang a couple of tracks, as did Colin Blunstone, Lenny Zakatek and Chris Rainbow. I havenât heard the whole remastered album which contains some previously unreleased bonus material.
The track that is most destined to become an earworm, IMHO â https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIzorC8u4Tw
From the bonus material on the remastered edition â and very succinct and true it is too â¦. Eric Woolfsonâs vocals â¦.
