It’s week two at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for DJ Khaled’s ‘I’m The One’. Since hitting the top spot last week, the single has also gone to #1 in the US, UK, Canada and New Zealand, among other territories.
In its third week in the top 50, Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s ‘Despacito’ has jumped eight spots to sit at #2. It means that both the #1 and #2 songs on this week’s chart include Justin Bieber as a featured artist.
A jump of nine spots to #17 for ‘Swalla’ gives Jason Derulo his first appearance inside the top 20 since ‘Want To Want Me’ (#4 Apr. ’15).
This week’s chart also includes new peaks for Cheat Codes’ ‘No Promises’ (up six to #30), Charlie Puth’s ‘Attention’ (up nine to #32) and Martin Jensen’s ‘Slow Dance’ (up two to #40).
Debuts:
#11: Niall Horan ‘Slow Hands’ – Former One Direction member Niall Horan hits that chart again with ‘Slow Hands’. The single comes six months on from his debut solo release ‘This Town’ (#5 Oct. ’16). Both are expected to be on Horan’s debut solo album.
#37: Jonas Blue Feat. William Singe ‘Mama’ – The fourth single to chart in the ARIA top 50 for British tropical house producer Jonas Blue and his first new entry for 2017. ‘Mama’ features vocals by Australian William Singe, who was formerly a member of boyband The Collective (‘Surrender’ (#6 Dec. ’12)). Jonas Blue last charted with ‘By Your Side’ (#33 Dec. ’16).
#45: Post Malone ‘Congratulations’ – American rapper Post Malone scores his debut ARIA top 50 appearance with ‘Congratulations’. The track, which features a guest spot by Migos member Quavo, comes from Post Malone’s debut album, Stoney.

After a week in the #2 position, Ed Sheeran’s ÷ returns to the top of the ARIA Albums Chart for a ninth week.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2: Awesome Mix Vol. 2 has scored a new peak in its third week in the top 50, moving up one spot to #2.
In the week that streaming data makes its first contribution to the calculation of the Albums Chart and of Mother’s Day purchases, there are also moves back up the top ten for Kendrick Lamar’s Damn. (up two to #3), Mark Vincent’s A Tribute To Mario Lanza (up two to #5), Bruno Mars’ 24k Magic (up four to #6), Adele’s 25 (up two to #7), Tina Arena’s Tina Arena (Greatest Hits / Interpretations) (up two to #9) and Ed Sheeran’s X (up two to #10).
Debuts:
#8: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds ‘Lovely Creatures - The Best Of Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds (1984 - 2014)’ – This new compilation brings together work from the first 30 years of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ catalogue. It includes tracks from the 15 albums released in that period, beginning with 1984’s From Her To Eternity, through to Push The Sky Away (#1 Feb. ’13). The band topped the Albums Chart last year with Skeleton Tree (#1 Sept. ’16).
#15: At The Drive-In ‘in•ter a•li•a’ – Five years on from reuniting, American post-hardcore band At The Drive-In release their fourth album, in•ter a•li•a. It’s their first album of new material since Relationship Of Command (#24 Feb. ’01). Following their initial split, the band also charted with compilation This Station Is Non-Operational (#34 May ’05).
#17: San Cisco ‘The Water’ – Fremantle quartet San Cisco returns with The Water. The band’s third album comes two years on from Gracetown (#2 Mar. ’15). San Cisco will be touring nationally through May and June in support of the album.
#20: Chris Stapleton ‘From A Room: Volume 1’ – American country singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton releases his second studio album From A Room: Volume 1. It comes as the follow-up to Traveller (#47 Nov. ’15) and gives Stapleton a new Albums Chart peak.
#21: Kasabian ‘For Crying Out Loud’ – Album sixth from Kasabian gives the Brit rockers their fourth top 50 appearance. For Crying Out Loud comes three years on from 48:13 (#11 Jun. ’14). Their highest peak to date was with Velociraptor! (#8 Oct. ’11).
#22: Asgeir ‘Afterglow’ – Icelandic singer-songwriter Asgeir releases his second studio album, Afterglow. It comes three years on from In The Silence (#8 Mar. ’14). Asgeir will be in Australia in August for Splendour In The Grass and a national tour.
#23: Mac DeMarco ‘This Old Dog’ – The third album from Mac Demarco gives the Canadian singer-songwriter a second ARIA Albums Chart top 50 appearance. This Old Dog comes three years on from 2014’s Salad Days. In between, Demarco released the mini album Another One (#24 Aug. ’14).
#25: Logic ‘Everybody’ – With his third album, American rapper Logic scores a new peak on the ARIA Albums Chart. The follow-up to The Incredible True Story (#43 Nov. ’15), Everybody is Logic’s second album to chart in the top 50 and includes guest appearances by Public Enemy’s Chuck D, Black Thought of The Roots, Killer Mike, Alessia Cara and more.
#29: Blondie ‘Pollinator’ – New wave legends Blondie return with their eleventh studio album. The follow-up to 2014’s The Ghosts Of Download, Pollinator features tracks written for the band by the likes of Sia, Nick Valensi from The Strokes, TV On The Radio's David Sitek, Johnny Marr, Charli XCX and Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes. It’s the first Blondie studio release to chart in the top 50 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The band’s only appearances on the chart have been with the remix album Once More Into The Bleach (#47 Feb. ’89) and compilation The Complete Picture (#6 Jun. ’91); both featured Blondie tracks and solo numbers by front woman Debbie Harry.
#33: Pond ‘The Weather’ – Perth’s Pond releases their seventh album in eight years, The Weather. The follow-up to Man It Feels Like Space Again (#15 Feb. ’15) was produced by former Pond drummer and Tame Impala leader Kevin Parker. It’s their third album to chart in the top 50.
#35: Motionless In White ‘Graveyard Shift’ – American metalcore band Motionless In White picks up their second top 50 appearance with Graveyard Shift. The band’s fourth studio album comes three years on from Reincarnate (#19 Sept. ’14).
#37: Diana Krall ‘Turn Up The Quiet’ – With her thirteenth studio album, Canadian singer-songwriter Diana Krall picks up her ninth appearance in the ARIA top 50. Turn Up The Quiet comes two years on from Wildflower (#7 Feb. ’15).
