^Gosh â no idea about how well known Al Stewart is in Europe, but he was a contemporary of Cat Stevens, so itâs interesting that you made that connection without knowing about him! His best known album is probably Year of the Cat â that and Time Passages are his highest charting albums â late ish 70âs, UK based at the time.
Heâs still recording and apparently still touring, so you never know! Maybe heâll turn up at a venue near you.
There are so many, but this Cat Stevens song stays with me for some reason - it's particularly poignant as it's the final track on his last album as Cat, (in fact he'd already changed his name by then) - from Back to Earth ...
