This week marks the start of a major tussle on the Official Albums Chart, with several contenders vying for the coveted Number 1 spot.Emeli Sande releases her second studio album Long Live The Angels this week. Trailed by the singles Hurts and Breathing Underwater - the latter of which was recently performed on The X Factor - Emeli is a huge contender for chart glory. Her debut album Out Version of Events spent 67 consecutive weeks in the Top 10, the second longest span ever recorded.
Olly Murs' puts out his new collection 24 HRS, a fifth studio album that follows three consecutive chart toppers in a row: In Case You Didn't Know, Right Place Right Time and Never Been Better.
Sting returns also this week, with his first Rock album in over a decade named 57th and 9th. Speaking of rock... and roll, the legendary Cliff Richard is vying for his 44th Top 10 album as a solo artist with Just... Fabulous Rock 'n' Roll.
Looking to impact this week's Official Singles Chart is Zara Larsson with her new track I Would Like. Fresh from her two award wins at the MTV Europe Music Awards, she'll be hoping to bag her sixth Top 40 single.
Busted and DNCE release new album teaser tracks this week, while The xx have released On Hold, the lead single from their third studio album I See You. Fergie's long awaited second single named Life Goes On from her upcoming album is also new, as is Gabrielle Aplin's Miss You
