I think your at the right place to find out about new musical genres. The best place to sometimes look is the 'Currently listening threads' and see what other people write. If I see a post of something I don't know, then I might look them up on youtube. If it sounds good, then I go to itunes to purchase. Music Forums are going to be the best place as it's purpose is to share musical ideas and experiences.
