Oceansoul Wrote:Well I do listen to Dark Tranquility, but as far as At The Gates is concerned, I've heard the title track Slaughter of the Soul and the track Blinded by Fear, I'm not sure I would call them my cup of tea.
Granted, a couple of songs aren't much to judge a band on.
What would you recommend most from Dark Tranquility? I've heard that The Gallery is good, but have only checked out a few songs from it so far.
As for At the Gates, their first two albums are pretty different from their third and SotS, they have a more technical and black metal influenced approach. So, I'd recommend checking out a couple songs from their first two each. Here are links to the four songs,

That's good to hear.

That sounds interesting I'll check it out right after I'm finished with what I'm currently listening to. The description reminds me of a band called Ixion, so here's a track from them to check out, https://ixion.bandcamp.com/track/falling-to-apathy
I'm currently listening to my favourite band; Blind Guardian with one of the epic tracks from their most recent album, called: "The Grand Parade."
