For anyone who might be interested, there are genealogies of rock which have been compiled by a gentleman named Pete Frame who used to be a journalist/music magazine editor and who is also an author on the subject.

I believe there was a book "Rock Family Trees", or some title like that, which a friend owned during the 1980s. The writer listed something like 105 different line-ups of John Mayall's Blues Breakers.
