i agree with you bob_32,
but just about every musician in the UK since their charts began wants that elusive "Christmas #1", its a coveted achievement in the industry apparently,
when I say "just about every musician" I mean the pop orientated ones.....
it doesn't have to be a yuletide themed song, it just has to be #1...
not sure why, maybe the biggest music ales of the year are the ones in that week prior to Xmas, I don't know?!??
I might have to check but im pretty sure Cliff Richard has had more #1 singles over Christmas than any other artist in the UK.(but I may be wrong)
