I would actually be quite open-minded about the new Oldfield, because it sounds as though it's actually new original music, not just remixes or music from tapes he found sitting around in the cupboard. I do have a problem with the title; it seems to be an attempt to cash in on the popularity of Ommadawn. However I have seen comments to the effect that some people liked Tubular Bells II better than TB1, so as I say I am open-minded.
