CHEAP TRICK "next position please" cd, 1983
career stats:
studio albums.........17
singles...................64
this album..................#61 US
singles:
"dancing the night away".....no chart action
"i cant take it"....................no chart action
the band's seventh studio album and my last one to post (except for the latest one I bought a couple of days ago)....
album is their stock standard CT sound....
according to Wiki, its the band's favourite album....
title track was written and demo'd back in 1979 but never saw the light of day until '83...
cover is a parody of Springsteen's "born to run"...
again, typical of cheap Track albums for me, nothing I dislike (except for a couple on their debut set)...
not a bad album for me, they did better, but as previously said, the band thought this was their best album...
interesting to note with their chart positions that they were never really that big, they rarely made the top20
with their singles and albums anywhere, and that's sad because they were/are a great band IMO...
I LIKE THIS ALBUM
worst track: dance the night away
best track: next position please
