Most of the tracks do link together to give the impression of someones lifestyle or maybe the story of events in a stereotype person of Edwardian England( an toff or a society gentleman ) , the format is that of the kind of thing one might find in music hall/opera and the inclusion of the English national anthem ( Which was always played at the end of a performance in England up until around the late sixties) ties the whole thing together as an kind of operatic rock performance.
That is my reading of he album , I might be wrong but I always saw it as a concept album..:wink:
