DAVID BOWIE "nothing has changed" cd, 2014
the forty-eighth compilation of his career whilst he was still living...
three more since his passing...
this was released as a single, double and triple cd set, I have the double,
wanted one of his 'hits' for the car, saves taking six or seven studio sets in the car...
tracks are in chronological order, and that's the way I like my compilations, if only to
hear the way an artist changes through a career...
contains thirty nine tracks all up, thirty seven of which were singles from 1969-2014.
one new track on it, "sue", which he later re-recorded for his final album 'blackstar' and a previously
unreleased track, "all the young dudes" from the early 1970s, which he gave to Mott The Hoople, who
had a huge hit with it back in the day...
Bowie had previously, on occasion, sung that track during his concert tours but had never released it
in studio version form
a solid collection of his singles and one worth getting for the average or curious listener to Mr-Bowie...
would obviously score a high "love" rating if I scored it...
