UK "singles" chart for week ending 2nd June:

Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee make Official Chart history today as Despacito becomes the longest reigning foreign language Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart.The track, which features Justin Bieber on the remix for its UK release, logs a fourth week in pole position with 129,000 combined sales â itâs highest one-week tally to date â made up of 59,000 downloads and 10.6 million streams.
The record for most weeks at Number 1 for a foreign language single was previously held by vocal jazz group Manhattan Transfer â their 1977 hit Chanson DâAmour logged three weeks at the top.
Only nine other foreign language singles have reached Number 1 in the Official Singles Chartâs 65-year history. See the full list here â notable entries include Psy's Gangnam Style and Las Ketchupâs The Ketchup Song.
Meawhile, the rest of the Top 3 remains unchanged: DJ Khaledâs Iâm The One ft. Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper and Lil Wayne is at 2, and Liam Payneâs Strip That Down holds at 3.
