It’s week three at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s Justin Bieber-featured track ‘Despacito’. Likewise, the track is spending its third week at #1 in the UK and US.
A jump of four spots to #4 for ‘There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back’ puts the track equal with ‘Stitches’ (#4 Dec. ’15) and ‘Treat You Better’ (#4 Jul.’16) as Shawn Mendes’ highest chart peak.
In its second week on the chart, Liam Payne’s ‘Strip That Down’ enters the top ten for the first time at #9. Payne becomes the fourth former One Direction member to have a top ten hit on the ARIA Singles Chart.
After previously peaking at #19, Future’s has jumped up eight spots in its tenth week in the top 50 to claim a new peak at #13.
This week’s chart also includes new peaks for Niall Horan’s ‘Slow Hands’ (up two to #8), Charlie Puth’s ‘Attention’ (up three to #16), Cheat Codes’ ‘No Promises’ (up one to #19), Jonas Blue’s ‘Mama’ (up nine to #20) and Imagine Dragons’ ‘Thunder’ (up nine to #29).
Debuts:
#25: Martin Garrix & Troye Sivan ‘There For You’ – Dutch DJ/producer Martin Garrix teams up with Australian singer-songwriter Troye Sivan for new track ‘There For You’. It’s Garrix’s first appearance on the chart since the Dua Lipa collaboration ‘Scared To Be Lonely’ (#14 Feb. ’17) and Sivan’s first since ‘Youth’ (#17 Jan. ’16).
#31: Rita Ora ‘Your Song’ – Rita Ora returns to the chart for the first time in two years with ‘Your Song’. The British artist’s first top 50 appearance since ‘Poison’ (#30 Jul. ’15) was co-written by Ed Sheeran and is expected to be the first single to come from Ora’s second album.
#40: Lil Uzi Vert ‘XO Tour Llif3’ – The first appearance as lead artist in the ARIA top 50 for American rapper Lil Uzi Vert. ‘XO Tour Llif3’ comes from the EP Luv Is Rage 1.5. The Philadelphia-born rapper previously appeared on the chart as a featured artist on the Migos track ‘Bad and Boujee’ (#34 Feb. ’17).
#42: Maggie Lindemann ‘Pretty Girl’ – Texas-born artist Maggie Lindemann makes her ARIA Singles Chart debut with ‘Pretty Girl’. The track was released in late-2016 and has already been a top 20 hit in the UK, Ireland and Sweden, among others.
#43: Hailee Steinfeld ‘Most Girls’ – Hailee Steinfeld scores her first chart appearance in 2017 with ‘Most Girls’. It’s the singer/actress’ third top 50 and the follow-up to ‘Starving’ (#5 Sept. ’16).

Following its return to the top spot last week, Ed Sheeran’s ÷ remains at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart this week. It’s ÷’s eleventh week at #1.
The week’s highest re-entry comes from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The Fab Four’s 1967 psychedelic masterpiece receives the deluxe reissue treatment to mark the 50th anniversary of its release. On release in Australia in July 1967, the album spent 30 weeks at #1 between August 1967 and March 1968. It hit #4 in June 1987 when it was first released on CD to mark its 20th anniversary and peaked at #16 when the Beatles’ entire remastered catalogue was released in September 2009.
The soundtrack to Fifty Shades Darker has moved back up 20 spots to #21.
Adam Harvey & Beccy Cole’s The Great Country Songbook Vol. II has jumped up eight spots to #37.
As her tour in support of the album pauses, Ariana Grande’s Dangerous Woman moves up eleven places to #34.
Debuts:
#2: Bernard Fanning ‘Brutal Dawn’ – Less than a year on from Civil Dusk (#2 Aug. ’16), Bernard Fanning returns with Brutal Dawn. It’s the former Powderfinger front man’s fourth solo album and fourth to chart in the top two. Civil Dusk and Brutal Dawn make up a two album series. The former returns to the chart this week at #35.
#3: In Hearts Wake ‘Ark’ – Byron Bay’s In Hearts Wake score a third top five on the ARIA Albums Chart with Ark. The band’s fourth album equals their Albums Chart peak reached with previous release Skydancer (#2 May ’15).
#9: Frenzal Rhomb ‘Hi-Vis High Tea’ – Sydney punks Frenzal Rhomb score their first top ten on the ARIA Charts with their ninth studio album, Hi-Vis High Tea. It’s the quartet’s first album since Smoko At The Pet Food Factory (#14 Aug. ’11). It takes over from A Man's Not A Camel (#11 Apr. ’99) as their highest chart peak.
#12: Bryson Tiller ‘True To Self’ – American R&B artist Bryson Tiller makes his ARIA Albums Chart debut with True To Self. The album is Tiller’s second studio album, following on from 2015’s Trapsoul.
#18: The Teskey Brothers ‘Half Mile Harvest’ – The debut album from Melbourne band The Teskey Brothers. Half Mile Harvest was released in January but is only now hitting the chart. The band will be touring national through June and July.
#26: Caitlyn Shadbolt ‘Songs On My Sleeve’ – Gympie country artist Caitlyn Shadbolt picks up a second entry in the ARIA top 50 with Songs On My Sleeve. The singer-songwriter’s debut album comes two years on from her debut self-titled EP (#50 Aug. ’15).
#27: Elvis Presley ‘The Wonder Of You & If I Can Dream’ – This double pack brings together both albums posthumous Elvis Presley albums recorded by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Both have previously charted individually: If I Can Dream (#1 Nov. ’15) The Wonder Of You (#3 Nov. ’16).
