Had not heard this one before but it's one in among a pile of recent vinyl acquisitions - chosen - not happened upon by default. Country rock - it's a concept album based on the American civil war. Apparently not very well received when it was released in 1981 - not in vogue at all at the time I should imagine! With the exception of one or three songs, I like it. Something like the Eagles and Firefall, and if I'm not mistaken, they had a few interchangeable members - or maybe that's just Poco and Firefall - I'll have to check. I'm not crazy about all of Poco's stuff but they did have something good going on here IMHO - if you like this sort of thing, which I do, when in the mood.
