I think it is so sad ...I was teaching these things to people in the 80s in schools and it looked then as if we were bringing in a generation that understood these things and would be careful in the future. Now 40 years on it is heart breaking to see how these things were ignored and the policies of governments focused on money and expanding economies when in the 80s the warning lights were flashing. To many it was more important to make money , disregard the planet and look for status symbols
Much of what was predicted has occurred and we are nearer the nightmare scenario than many understand.....and still we show few signs of changing.....
