STEVE HILLAGE "L" cd, 1976:
Prog Rock dude...
I got this one in a bundle purchase of secondhand cds a while ago
along with four other of his...
so, six tracks, three of which are covers, one a Beatles cover, the others Donovan covers...
love four of the tracks, dislike the other two...
album works well, looking forward to hearing the others I purchased
I LIKE THIS ALBUM
favourite, one of the self penned tracks:
I have several Steve Hillage albums and find them all great to listen too.....Steve has a very distinctive sound and always reminds me of that 70s hippy time which was encapsulated at Virgin records in the UK.
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!
It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
It makes a man frown..............................Chris Simpson ( "Mixed Up Sensations" 1975 Martin's Cafe )
