NEIL YOUNG & CRAZY HORSE "Greendale" 2003:
twenty-fifth solo set from Uncle Neil...
Ive been thinking about this album for a couple of weeks now and thought
i should play it to get it out of my head...
a rock opera...
explores the life, career and on duty death of Police Officer Carmichael...
the tale is told through the eyes of various members of the community
of the fictional town of Greendale, California...
music isn't as heavy as most Crazy Horse material, in fact it even has a
swing/jazz thing happening at times...
an underrated, under appreciated, forgotten album from his vast back catalogue
well worth a listen if you get a chance..
I LOVE THIS ALBUM
