STRAWBS - Dragonfly
Very early Strawbs and a lot more folk rock than prog at this stage. Interested to note that Tony Visconti produced this album - and plays recorder on it too! May not have been his shining moment, the recorder that is! He gets a nod nonetheless "Love and thanks to Tony Visconti for being of sound mind while producing, engineering and adding percussive effects"
Some songs sound dated but then Dave Cousins has always sounded like a sage anyway. Wakeman's on the album, but not on this track - I think it's Cousins on the keys and there's some nice cello and double bass ...
