The recording engineer (if there was one) needs to be slapped on the wrist. About half way through there’s either a very wrong choice by the lead guitarist in using distortion or the mike or something else is overloading. May work with punk rock but is this track meant to be punk? To my ears there’s way too much of that 'recorded in a very small room sound'. But hey, not everyone has the resources to record in state of the art studios. One way around that is to use some of today’s really good amateur recording technology but record in a larger space like a church hall etc.
