GREAT LAKE SWIMMERS "new wild everywhere" cd, 2012
Canadian band
fifth album
was a first for me.
elements of folk and country.
not really country but the banjo and fiddle give it leanings that way.
checked my last post for this back in the day, it rated an average 1.8,
at the same time MH rated it a similar 1.9.
its a better album than that for sure.
grown on me more and more each play.
still not in the love range but its getting there slowly.
I LIKE THIS ALBUM
this single has a bit of a Tom Petty feel to it:
"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
They were big in the 70s....for five minutes,on a Saturday,after lunch..." - Me 2014.
